A fine set of 3 antique American coin silver tablespoons. By Robert Wilson, an American silversmith active in New York and Philadelphia. In coin silver. Each with a pointed oval bowl, modeled drop and downturned broad fiddle handle. Each with an engraved tallship or boat and a 'D' monogram to the handle. Simply a wonderful set of antique American silver spoons! Date: Mid-19th Century Overall Condition: They are in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition. Condition Details: There is some light edge wear, some indentions to the bowls, some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Maker: Robert Wilson Marks: Marked to the reverse of the handle with 'RW' for Robert Wilson. Fineness: Unmarked for silver fineness. Measurements: Length: ca. 7 in.
