About the Item

Set of Dutch silver serving spoons, Van Kempen & Zn, 1887-1894 Set of 4 Dutch silver serving spoons from the late 19th century. 2 Vegetable spoons, a rice spoon and a sauce spoon. Silver serving set in the luxury pearl rim model with twisted stem at the front and smooth at the back. The sauce spoon with curved handle. All spoons hallmarked with the Dutch silver hallmark Lion 2 ( 833/1000 purity of silver), Year letters for C 1887 (2 pieces, sauce - and rice spoon), the vegetable spoons with year letter E & K for 1889 and 1994. Minerva head with letter C (office) for The Haque, Master sign Fa. J.M. van Kempen & Zonen, used during 1858-1924. The vegetable spoons are 25.5 cm long, 5.3 cm wide and 3.5 cm high The weight in total is 314 grams.
