Being offered is a set of six sterling silver demitasse spoons made in Denmark. They are uber-modern with the mix of silver and wood. Experimenting with silver and other materials such as wood, glass and even nylon. Wood handles are a glorious counterpoint to sterling silver and emphasizes the combination of silver and wood used in the postwar era. Denmark was at the forefront of the MidCentury modern movement, hence the name “Danish MidCentury modern” and led the way in that genre. Demitasse spoons can also be used for sorbet and other dessert dishes.
