Silver stunning coffee tea set Germany Wilkens and Sons
Bremen circa 1918/1919.

This set consists of various parts:

-- Coffee pot | height: 10.43 inches (26.5 cm).
-- Tea pot | height: 8.26 inches (21.0 cm).
-- Creamer | height: 4.92 inches (12.5 cm).
-- Sugar bowl | height: 5.90 inches (15.0 cm).
-- Tray | length: 20.47 inches (52.0 cm).
width: 16.53 inches (42.0 cm).

Made during early 20th century.
(Manufactured circa 1918-1919).
Surface of items is excellently decorated with stunning lines bulging surface in decorative manner (made in chasing technique) / coffee pot, tea pot, sugar bowl (their pear-shaped lid is crowned by wooden knob) and creamer are based on round foot decorated with bulging rings, too, at edged areas / all of them have most elegant handles of volute type. Even the quite large-sized oval tray is ornamented with bulging lines at edged area which is hoisted (the tray's middle area has smooth surface). Additionally, the handle of coffee pot as well as of tea pot has insulating ring made of bone.

Wilkens & SONS / Bremen, Germany | Wilkens Firm Mark on all parts of this set engraved. - The firm was founded in year 1810 by goldsmith Martin Heinrich Wilkens (1782–1869) / Wilkens participated in International World Exhibitions as from the year 1851. It is one of the best known German Silver Manufactories always producing items of finest quality.
