A pair of Art Nouveau glass decanters (Carafes) with silver mountings.
Hallmarked:
Mark WTB: Germany/Schwaebisch Gmuend, manufactory Wilhelm Binder, number 8329.
Silver 800.
German official silver stamp: Crescent with moon.
Made, circa 1900.
Specifications:
The decanters' form is that of tapering type; they have very elegant silver mountings (with smooth surface) on it, consisting of a lid with hinge and knob, a spout and a handle. The decanters' glass surface is decorated with engraved narrow bands/additionally, the surface of both decanters is facet cut. Finally, the bottom of glass parts is excellently ornamented with stunningly cut star pattern.
