Whistle made of gilded silver The decoration consists of diamonds covering an anchor. Additionally there is a small handle shaped as a steering wheel. Original casket existing! Hallmarked: -- ASSAYER'S MARK: IVAN SERGEYEVICH LEBEDKIN / MOSCOW business license 1899 -- sign of silvermith existing: AM enclosed by rectangle -- silver fineness mark = fineness 84 Zolotniki (= silver 875/1000), KOKOSHNIK-MARK 1899 - 1908 Partially gilded Made 1899-1908 Size: Length of whistle = 3.15 inches Size of casket: Length = 11 cm / 4.33 inches Depth = 5 cm / 1.96 inches Height = 3.2 cm / 1.26 inches Weight of whistle 28 grams / 0.98 OZ / 0.90 troy ounce Condition: Very good.
