Silver Jardinière With Floral Openwork And Glass Insert, Vienna, Circa 1925
About the Item
Elegant silver jardinière with an elliptical ground plan, the vertical wall slightly flared at the bottom and decorated with large-scale floral openwork, below a constriction and the formation of a foot section with four projecting feet with floral, between the feet with lamellar openwork, raised volute and rocaille handles applied lengthwise opposite each other on the outside.
Matching glass insert with straight upper edge and cut star decoration on the upper rim overhanging the silver vessel.
