Heading : Sterling Silver Candlesticks Date : Hallmarked in Sheffield 1796 For John Younge Period : George III Origin : Sheffield, Yorkshire, England Decoration : True baluster stems. The perimeter of the ovoid feet decorated with braided swags supported by flowers and leaves Size : Height 29.5cm, base 16 x 12.8 Condition : Very good. Some scatterered pin-prick indents around the edeg of the foot Restoration : Professionally cleaned and the bases re-felted Weight : 1581 grams . The bases were loaded at te time of manufacture to enhance stability
