This exceptional antique Edwardian sterling silver and mother of pearl cutlery set consists of twelve table knives, twelve table forks, twelve dessert knives and twelve dessert forks. Both the dessert and table knives have plain subtly tapering rounded blades with rounded tips. The dessert fork has a waisted shaft and two tines; the table forks have four tines. An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Edwardian English sterling silver and mother of pearl fruit/dessert cutlery set for 12 persons, boxed, an addition to our dining silverware collection. This exceptional antique Edwardian sterling silver and mother of pearl fruit/dessert flatware set / service consists of twelve knives and twelve forks. The blades of the knives have a rounded form and the forks each have four tines/prongs. The anterior surface of each knife is embellished with fine and impressive bright cut engraved foliate decoration accented with a simplified border to one side. The anterior surface of each fork is ornamented with a bright cut engraved stemmed floral design accented with single leaves.
