This exceptional antique George VI English sterling silver bowl has a plain circular rounded form onto a circular spreading foot. The body of this silver quaich bowl is plain and unembellished, apart from a band of applied moulded decoration to the rim. This antique bowl is fitted with an exceptional quaich style hand piece ornamented with applied scrolling leaf and floral motifs, all on a matte background. The terminal of the handle is embellished with further applied scrolling leaf designs accented with floral medallions and a bead decorated border.
