Sterling Silver Salt Shakers, circa 1900

About the Item

We are delighted to offer you these sterling silver salt shakers by Gorham Silversmiths, hallmarked 1900. They have an old-world regalia that reflects the Gilded Age of the 19th century. Ornate with a floral motif and a reticulated top, they stand on a pedestal giving them extra height. The finials are erect and straight. Notice their unusual shape; large belly with a narrow neck unlike other salt shakers that lack shape and style.
