Being offered is a sterling silver vase from the 1940’s made by the Preisner Silver Company. Silver manufactured during WWII is almost always simple in design with very - if any decorative qualities. Reflecting the austere period of that time in response to the war. The MidCentury movement of “less is more” evolved as a result of this austerity period.
A sleek shape and design with only a fluted rim; classic and timeless. It would complement and decor and style from traditional to contemporary!
