Hallmarked in London in 1759 by John Cafe, this rare, George II, set of 3 antique sterling silver salvers, feature gadroon borders and lion paw feet. Each salver measures 1"(3cm) tall, by 8.25"(21cm) in diameter, and the 3 together weigh 42.4 troy ounces. Each salver is engraved with the arms of the Carroll family, possibly that of Charles Carroll III of Maryland U.S (elected to the first Senate of the United States).
