Made by Victorian Novelty Specialists, W. Thornhill & Co of New Bond Street, dated 1884.
The Broom part is made with Fine bristle on the inside and Fine wicker on the outside.
Although a novelty, this piece can be used for wiping pen nibs clean after use.
