KLINKOSCH VIENNA JOSEPH CARL KLINKOSCH (1822-1888) had been taught by his father Carl who had owned the silver manufactory 'Mayerhofer & Klinkosch', having been founded in the year 1830 by Stephan Mayerhofer and Carl Klinkosch: The manufactory Mayerhofer & Klinkosch had been one of the most successfull silver manufactories of the Old Imperial Austria. There was a change in the year 1869 when the son Josef Carl Klinkosch became single owner of the manufactory - the company's name was changed into: 'Gold-, Silber- und Metallwaren-Fabrik J. C. Klinkosch'. The company's success remained the same: Josef Carl Klinkosch worked as a purveyor of the Austrian Emperor as his father had done and received numerous orders from his nobility.
