Antique German Art Nouveau .800 Silver 12 Piece Fish Flatware Serving Set

About the Item

This twelve piece serving set is signed by an unknown maker, but presumed to have originated from Germany and date to approximately 1900 and done in the period Art Nouveau style. The pieces are comosed of .800 silver and contains six forks and six knives and most often referred to as a fish set. The forks have four geometrically stylized tynes with accenting curved bodies. Both the knives and forks have accented engraving. Each of the pieces is clearly marked ".800" for the silver content with a maker's mark.
