About the Item

Gorgeous Rarest Condiment Set, consisting of Silver Holder / Support with Glass Bottles / made in Vienna. PARTICULAR FEATURE: The silver holder keeping the bottles is shaped as a sculptured elephant's figurine attached to wheels which are in working order - this means that this condiment set can be moved along the table's plate (RARITY !). Excellently manufactured / made of massive silver ( = highest manufacturing quality !) : The elephant - as mentioned above - having the holder's function has four rings to which the four glass bottles can be put into; additionally, two small bowls (for keeping spice) are attached to the holder, too. Finally, the elephant is wearing a column to which top a Chinese man holding a fan is attached: The figurine sits on a cushion. The style is deriving from Period of Historicism / the condiment set is abundantly decorated with scrolls, acanthus leaves, flower's blossoms with leaves, volutes, shells, lockets etc. ( = chasing & chiselled work). The glass parts of this condiment set are made of ruby red shaded glass (excellently cut) / two glass bottles having stoppers are destined for keeping oil and vinegar, the other two are covered by silver lids having function of spreading out salt and pepper. MADE 1854 / HISTORICISM PERIOD Branded by Viennese so-said RADELPUNZE which means: SILVER 13 LOT ( = 812, 5 silver ), dated here: 1854 master’s mark existing: C.S (= Christian Sander), having been active 1843 - 81 MEASURES: 1) total height of silver holder: 34.0 cm 13.38 inches 2) length of silver holder: 26.5 cm 10.43 inches 3) height of oil / vinegar bottles: 22.0 cm 8.66 inches 4) height of pepper/salt bottle: 15.5 cm 6.10 inches SILVER WEIGHT OF HOLDER: 1180 grams 41.62 OZ 2.60 lbs/pounds CONDITION: MINT CONDITION / there aren't any damages or restorations on it: The silver holder hasn't any dents or missing parts / the glass items haven't any scratches, cracks, splinters or any other damages.
