About the Item

Beautiful set consisting of salt and pepper shaker in sterling silver and maroon/red and lemon yellow enamel guilloche. This set is accompanied by a small footed sterling and enamel jar for finger salt, spices, caviar or sugar. The 3 pieces are designed and manufactured by the Danish artist and silversmith Volmer Bahner during the 1940s. This set was made circa 1960 and the pieces are hallmarked: Sterling, Denmark, V. B. Measurements: H: 4/2.5 cm, Diameter: 2.5/5 cm.
