About the Item

From pasta primavera to world-renowned decadent desserts, Le Cirque's ubiquitous reputation for presenting its fine dining fare with whimsy and fun, landed it on the map of must-dine destinations in New York for glitterati and foodies alike. No matter the location, monkeys and circus themes remained a design staple of the iconic restaurant. Although the landmark restaurant's NYC doors are now closed, Black Rock Galleries is pleased to offer items from the famed restaurant. Osteria Del Circo (Le Cirque) Villeroy & Boch rim soup bowls, designed by Adam D. Tihany. The bowls with a red trapeze artist on a blue wire and a navy blue crescent trim to the side. Custom made by Villeroy & Boch in Luxembourg and marked on the back. Dimensions: 9" x 1 1/2" Condition: service and glaze wear consistent with repeated restaurant use. No chips or cracks.
