About the Item
A set of 6 earthenware plates with a unique decoration in variation on the Minotaur theme.
To give your tables a touch that is both arty and rustic, the artist Marc Piano has imagined these decors as real paintings combining the great artistic tradition of the French Riviera and Greek mythology.
Both a ceramist and sculptor, Marc Piano's creations are imbued with his attachment to the earth and are perfectly recognisable by their archaic style which gives pride of place to a dark and fabulous bestiary.
Died in 2023, he leaves behind a very personal and prolific work exhibited in numerous galleries.
