Antique Whiting Lily of the Valley Sterling Silver Macaroni Server

About the Item

Lily of the Valley sterling silver macaroni server. Made by Whiting Mfg. Co. in New York, ca 1900. Fluted and scalloped bowl with side tines. Stem wrapped and wavy with tapering terminal; lily of the valley applied to striated ground. A nice serving piece in this pattern, which was first produced in 1885. Fully marked including maker’s and retailer’s (Shreve, Crump & Low) stamps, and no. 2. Weight: 3.5 troy ounces.
