A masterpiece of the prestigious Maison Boulenger. The set is presented in a box. Twelve tea, coffee, chocolate or dessert spoons in silver plate. The spatulas are adorned with cocoa bean motif decoration on both sides. No monograms. Extremely rare and collectible model. Prestigious silversmith: Boulenger. 4 rue du Vert Bois, Paris, was active in 1810. Suffice it to say that the family Boulenger was active in the silversmithing since 1810 to glimpse the importance of this manufactory! Exhibitor at most of the national and international exhibitions, Boulenger received medals, prizes and diplomas until 1913, when as a member of the Jury in Gent the were ineligible to compete. They received a silver medal in 1867, a bronze medal in 1878 and gold and silver medals in 1889 and 1900. Measures: 5.5 in (14 cm). Weight: 320 grams. Total weight with box : 530 grams A master silversmith made a complete cleaning and polishing. The condition is very good. Micro-scratches from normal use. The original box shows some signs of its age. Rare model with cocoa bean, exceptional in both design and execution, this fabulous set will grace your table and will delight your guests.
