About the Item
A Very Fine Cast Table Bell Made in London in 1886 by John Aldwinckle & Thomas Slater.
This fine example is cast, so is of the finest quality and the bowl is decorated with wide bands of horizontal reeding. The handle has a baluster shape and terminates in a stepped finial. The interior displays a finely made clapper. This piece is in excellent condition and is very well marked on the main body and with the maker's mark and sterling mark on the clapper.
