About the Item
This cutlery (model 2070) consist of 32 pieces.
Designed by Helmut Alder, produced by "Amboss Neuzeughammer Steyr" Austria in the 1960s.
High quality stainless steel cutlery.
Helmut Alder was inspired by the Bauhaus Movement and as a friend of the Architect Carl Aubock, he admired his biomorphic Design.
Alders 2070 cutterly was also used by the Austrian Airlines as a bord cutterly and was shown on several exhibitions in Austria, Italy and Germany.
Our cutterly was bought in the late 60‘s by an Austrian Architect couple and remained in there household for about 50 years. It was treated with care and shows itself in very good to excellent condition.
Consisting of 6 forks (Length 19 cm),
6 knifes (Length 21 cm),
6 spoons (Length 19,3 cm),
6 teaspoon (Length 15,2 cm),
6 dessert forks (Length 15,2 cm)
and 1 serving cutlery (1 serving spoon and 1 serving fork) (Length 28,5 cm; spoon width 4,8 cm).
