Emil Milan Pair of Sculptural Hand Carved Salt Spoons

$500per set

A lovely pair of hand-sculpted spoons for salting by American master woodworker, Emil Milan. An ingenious design that reflects the artist's abundant creativity along with his disdain for any sort of waste (these spoons were often made from scraps resulting from larger works), each features a crescent-shaped bowl dotted with precisely-carved holes that release grains of salt just as desired upon shaking. Petite works of art on their own with the added bonus of functionality by one of our favourite studio craftsmen. Be sure and visit our storefront for other examples of Milan's work. Priced as a pair Each appears to be walnut and are slightly different sizes in length: 3.75" long and 3.13".
