About the Item
A Rare George III Caddy Spoon Made in London in 1814 by Cocks & Bettridge.
The Caddy Spoon is modelled in the very rare elongated kidney form. The bowl displays an outer band of foliate motifs on a scratch engraved ground, surrounded by prick dot borders. The handle displays a shouldered base and various bright cut designs and a vacant prick dot cartouche. This spoon is in quite excellent condition and is very well marked on the handle.
