About the Item
In creating the Donut collection, designer Pia Chevalier drew her inspiration from the world of baking. The ceramic artist imagined these cups and mugs as cakes – their handles representing the dough, and a varnished finish for a sugar-glazed coating look.
The Donut collection adorns an exquisite design, spurs envy, and forges a special relationship between the object and its user. Espresso cups and a larger mug supplement the collection for a truly generous assortment. A tasteful object of decoration, the Donut mug has also been branded as a fashion accessory as it was worn during the Fashion Week in 2021!
Special attention was granted to the choice of eco-friendly packaging options in order to reduce the amount of wrapping while sufficiently protecting the product. All mugs are wrapped in plastic-free wrapping and placed in cardboard packaging printed with water-based ink.

Pia Chevalier
Pia Chevalier is a French contemporary designer, trained in design and crafts and more specifically, on the sets and surface treatments, at Boulle School, in Paris, France. She has her own workshop in the goldsmith's shop, the former premises of Christofle. She gives way to total spontaneity in the creative process and the composition of her pieces. Her love for raw materials incites her to constantly transform them, for the purpose of unique sculptural pieces creation. Focused on the object of daily life, it gives it a status of sculpture capable of arousing emotion and creating an emotional bond. Her obsession is to give solemnity to these objects and make them endearing. Her works have been sold to prestigious collections and institutions globally.
