About the Item

A Rare and Very Fine Fish Fork Made in London in 1850 by George Adams. This unusual piece has an Old English Thread handle and the fork displays four tines. The tines, and section above, are most unusually pierced and engraved with sea plants and tiny fish. This piercing is most unusual for this date and has a feel to the Art Nouveau designs which were to become popular at a later date. The fork is in excellent condition and is very well marked. Additional information: Length: 9.45 inches, 23.63cm. Width across the tines: 2.15 inches, 5.38cm
