About the Item
Set of 12 Labors of Cupid sterling silver five o’clock spoons. Made by Dominick & Haff in New York, ca 1900. Early pieces in the pattern that immortalizes the infantine travails of a bare-bottomed cherub in double-sided scrolled terminal. In this case, carrying the coffee tray. Stem decorated with fruiting berry branch; bowl round and gilt with engraved interlaced script monogram. Fully marked including maker’s stamp. Total weight: 6.5 troy ounces.
