Two MCM Vintage White Italian Ceramic Cabbageware Plates from Italy - A Pair
About the Item
A pair of two rare white ceramic cabbageware plates. We often find these in green or pink. However, white is quite rare. This pair was made in Italy, and marked "Made in Italy" in black on the back. Each plate is round, with scalloped edges and wonderfully textured centers that resemble cabbage or lettuce leaves. Cabbageware first became popular with Dodie Thayer's iconic green Hollywood Regency collection. We love seeing them at a place setting or hung on a wall or shelf with an existing collection.
