19th Century William IV Mahogany Tea Caddy

About the Item

19th Century William IV mahogany double interior section tea caddy complete with large hand cut led crystal mixing bowl. Rectangular in shape, the lidded edged features carved moulded detail and has similar moulded detail to the base on all sides. It sits on four decoratively carved feet. This item strongly suggests the quality of a piece produced by Gillows of Lancaster. Circa 1830.
