20th Centiry Italian Solid Silver Chocolate/Coffepot
About the Item
Coffee/Chocolate pot - 20th century Italian chocolate pot in solid silver
Large Italian coffee/chocolate pot in 800 silver.
The shape is the classic "pear" one with a silver base and handle -
The base is smooth and has 2 steps that have been made to make it more solid and resistant.
The body has been completely hand embossed and chiseled in a spiral pattern, with ribbed chiseled intervals and a satin and gloss finish.
The handle is in silver as well as the toggle knob of the lid.
The long spout is wide enough to make sure that the object can be used both for coffee and for more consistent drinks such as chocolate. Thus the piece is both a coffee pot and a chocolate pot.
