Hervidor diseñado por Michael Graves en 1985 y fabricado en acero inoxidable de alta calidad 18/10 La tetera 9093, con silbato en forma de pájaro, es uno de los objetos Alessi más vendidos en el mundo. El diseño de esta tetera mezcla las influencias tomadas del arte europeo, el pop americano y citas de culturas precolombinas. El lenguaje visual único de Graves es la razón del extraordinario éxito que ha tenido la tetera desde el año de su producción. Es un objeto inteligente, elegante, pero a la vez lúdico y divertido: cuando el agua empieza a hervir, el pájaro canta, lo que provoca una inevitable sonrisa.En el lenguaje formal personalísimo de Graves se funde la inspiración proveniente de la tradición europea, del Art Déco, el arte pop norteamericano y recuerdos de culturas precolombinas.
