About the Item

Vintage German Bavarian Wiuterliug Kirchenlomitz Echt Kobalt Scharffeuer china demitasse tea coffee set featuring teapot, creamer, sugar, cups, saucers and desert plates. The company was started by seven Winterling brothers in Röslau, Bavaria. It was founded as Gebrüder Winterling O.H.G. in 1907. Ten years later they took over Oscar Schaller porcelain factory located in Schwarzenbach. In 1950 the business was turned into a joint-stock company. In 1954 they started another factory in Bruchmühlbach. The Winterling Porzellan A.G. was not doing as good as in previous years. Finally the company went bankrupt in the year 2000. The factory was taken over by Triptis Porzellan G.m.b.H. & Co. K.G. The new owner was in trouble itself and lost solvency in 2004. Dessert tray by Royal Bayreuth Bavaria. Tea set by Kobenhavns Porcellains Maleri. "Royal Bayreuth is the name of a factory that was founded in Tettau, Bavaria, in 1794. It closed in 2019. It made figural and souvenir items from about 1885 to 1915, but its most important products have been tableware and coffee and tea sets. The marks have changed through the years. A stylized crest, the name Royal Bayreuth, and the word Bavaria appear in slightly different forms from 1870 to about 1919. Later dishes may include the words U.S. Zone (1945–1949), the year of the issue, or the word Germany instead of Bavaria." "The Copenhagen Porcellain Decorating Workshop was founded in 1883. In 1924 it was acquired by the wholesaler company Holst & Knudsen.
