Golden Porcelain Teapot with Snake Decoration, KPM c. 1800

About the Item

Rare teapot made of gold-patinated porcelain with surrounding snake decoration. The serpentine body winds around the oval smooth belly of the pot and forms both the handle and the spout. The round lid is decorated with a small cone. Blue sceptre mark and red cross on the base.
