Green Doobide srockery set by Alfredo Häberli Limited Edition of 10 sets per color. Materials: Dyed porcelain, painted by hand in platinum. Dimensions: Teapot: D 16 x W 16 x H 18 cm. Teacup: D 6,5 x W 6,5 x H 5,6 cm. Available in Beige, Green, Flesh, Grey and Blue. Doobide Collection is inspired in emirates’ society coffee tradition and has been designed to celebrate BD 50th anniversary. The collection consitist of a limited edition of 50 numbered crockery sets. It is available in five different colour ranges and 5 graphics: green, beige, flesh, grey and blue. Each range contains 10 crockery sets. It is composed by a teapot and 6 teacups (3 different models). The pieces are made out of dyed porcelain and painted by hand in platinium. Alfredo Häberli was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1964. He moved to Switzerland in 1977 and graduated 1991 with distinction in Industrial Design at the Höhere Schule für Gestaltung in Zurich. Today, he is an internationally established designer based in Zurich and is working for some of the leading companies of the international design industry such as Alias, BD Barcelona, BMW, Camper, FSB, Georg Jensen, Iittala, Kvadrat, Luceplan, Moroso, Schiffini and Vitra. He manages to unite tradition with innovation, joy and energy in his designs and his work is strongly influenced by his early childhood in Argentina as well as his curiousness and studies in everyday life. The results are works with a strong expression and emotionality.
