Haviland Porcelain Soup Tureen with Nautical Motif
About the Item
This Haviland and Co. porcelain soup tureen features a nautical motif with the rope handle entwined in an anchor. The matching handles on the body are beautifully articulated ropes with gilded highlights. The soft pink border is decorated in the Aesthetic Movement style depicting dragonflies, turtles, birds and cherry blossoms. More pieces are available that match this pattern including platters, gravy boat and rimmed soup bowls.
