A very nice mid 19th century Chinese export porcelain soup tureen with under plate, circa 1850s. The stand is in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks and measures 14.5"W x 11.25"D x 10"H. This set is an extraordinary example of the Chinese export porcelain and is delicately decorated with peonies and floral motif; pig's head handles finish the sides of the tureen, and knob in the form of stylish wave sits atop the tureen cover. #2126.
