About the Item

This is a mid century egg shaped soup tureen made by Environmental Ceramics in San Francisco, California. It includes three original pieces - a lift off lid with open finger hole, a dish with opening for a ladle, and the ladle. A beautiful, functional object perfect to display or holiday entertaining! The makers mark is on the bottom and I believe the year reads 1959.
