Garrard, this stunning pair of Victorian, Antique Sterling Silver Wine Coolers, are in the naturalistic taste, with the bases and rims designed to look like coral, and the handles made as oak leaves and branches. Each wine cooler measures 12"(30cm) tall, by 10.5"(27cm) in diameter, and together they weigh a very impressive 255.8 troy ounces.

This is an exceptional pair of antique English silver plated wine coolers by the renowned silversmith Hawksworth, Eyre & Co of Sheffield, circa 1870 in date. The wine coolers stand on circular pedestal bases with decorative Faustian masque handles and bodies which are masterfully embellished with grape vine decoration. Each cooler is fitted with a removable lid and liner and the lids are engraved with crests of a bull. Add some classic elegance to your home with this lovely decorative pair of coolers. Condition: In excellent condition. As antique items, the coolers show minor signs of use commensurate with age, these minor condition issues are mentioned for accuracy and, as seen in the accompanying photographs, they display beautifully.
