A 17th/ early 18th century German Westerwald Salt Glazed Stoneware jug A German Westerwald jug with pewter lid. The salt-glazed stoneware jug with handle from Nassau has 4 circles intertwined in the middle in circled edges of grape vines and floral motif on a cobalt blue background. The jug is from 1680-1720 and measures 19 cm high with lid and 13 cm wide with handle and 9.5 cm diagonal. The weight is 510 grams.
