About the Item
Very early American circus or carnival Sideshow Banner, circa 1890-1900. Fantastic paint detail. Great example of American folk art banner painting. The Great American African Camel Back Horse and Two Headed Calf. Signed by Union Sign Co., Uniontown PA. Great subject matter. Heavy tent canvas with what appears to be an original wood dowel for hanging. Old hand sewn repairs and some old tape on the reverse.
Please note that shipping is quoted with the wood dowel attached to the banner. Shipping quotes could be lowered substantially is the dowel was removed and the banner was folded and shipped via UPS or Fed Ex. The dowel does have age, however we are not certain if it is original to the banner. Please inquire with questions.
