Pair of Cornish Turned Serpentine Candlesticks c. 1880 We are proud to offer a matching pair of Cornish turned, carved serpentine candlesticks dated circa 1880 – 1890. Green figured Serpentine stoneware with a natural red inclusion, unusually carved sections to the base, middle and to the top typifying the rugged Cornish coastline. Discovered in a private collection in Cornwall, these items are untouched and highly decorative objects. Dimensions: 33cm H x 16cm W x 16cm D Condition: This item is completely solid in structure and form, light fading and blemishes across the surfaces with a few hairline fractures but are hardly noticeable, the pictures aim to illustrate the condition up close, please review all close up photos and propose questions before purchasing to avoid any disappointment.
