About the Item
Created by master artisan Soledad Martha Hernández and her son Marco Antonio Castillo in the town of Izucar de Matamoros, in the state of Puebla, Mexico. The traditional "arboles de la vida" or "trees of life" in English were invented here, where a few artisans still Craft these authentic Folk Art pieces.
Painted in colorful earth tones mother and son resemble the antique work of their ancestors, while maintaining the candelabra purpose. The "Arbol de la Vida" had been gifted for many generations as a marriage gift, resembling the family tree of life.
This Arbol de la Vida (Tree of Life) resembles the traditional kitchen from the state of Puebla, in México, very rich in flavor, color, and presentation with Talavera serve ware.
