West African Wood Carved Ceremonial Mask

A wonderful, decorative African mask with elongated features, detailed facial markings, and some sort of anthropomorphic animal sitting at the top of the head. Has a beautiful patina and encrusted finish with clear age. Likely made to be worn during a ceremony, indoctrination or festival. Would be a great addition to any African mask collection or engaging stand-alone accent piece. Dimensions: 14" high, 6" wide, 4" deep.
