About the Item
Rare hunters pipe made of original horns from the stag and deer, very elaborate carved hunting scenes with deer, wild boar and staghounds decorate the bowl. The art work is in the manner of Lebrecht Wilhelm Schulz, Meiningen, Thüringen, Germany approx. 1860. Lebrecht Wilhelm Schulz (1774-1863) was a famous carver of horn pipes at the beginning of the 19th century. Historically mentioned art works are among other two horn pipes which he paid homage to the winners of Waterloo - Wellington and von Blücher.
