Set of Three Italian Iron Trivets Antique Wrought Iron Rests from 1780
About the Item
From Italy a unique set of five 18th and 19th century assorted Italian flat iron trivets used to place hot irons to protect the preservation of tables, cloth and from hot charcoal and sad irons. These items are in excellent condition and have minor wear consistent with age and use. Wooden handle, one item shows a monogram with owner initials R. P., they are typical Italian collectible artworks wrought iron handmade items, made from circa 1780 up to 1850 at latest and come from a Milanese collection.
Each trivet is similar in size, we have listed the biggest measure.
