Native American Yakama Indian dress with fully beaded cape, same both sides. Brain/smoked tanned with replaced chest of commercial tanned. Bright yellow background with rose floral design, shell and bead drops, long fringe. Yellow is framed by dark blue. Direct off the Yakama Reservation. Stunning piece, great for continued use or display in a Southwestern home or handmade indigenous beadwork collection. Circa 1930. Size: 42” top of cape, 16” fringe, 22” chest, 49” top to bottom.
