Region/ tribe: Northern Plains / Assiniboine or Gros Ventre. This pipe bag is completely ochre’d in deep red. The background colors alternate from side to side. Materials: Native tanned hide, red ochre, seed beads (pony trader blue, green and white), cotton cloth liner, sinew and thread, green silk ribbon attachment.
