Introducing a vintage Native American Navajo pictorial tapestry with hand-woven images depicting life in the SW United States. Navajo and other Pueblo Peoples rugs are generally flat woven with wool for the body of the rug and usually built upon a cotton foundation. Navajo weavers use natural organic dyes that are available around their tribal land thus depicting their surroundings with materials of the very land they depict.
